Our restaurant in Edinburgh is currently undergoing a drastic transformation with a £250k makeover. As part of the refurbishment, we’ll also be introducing our popular Pizza Experience to Edinburgh when we reopen (on Tuesday 2nd August).

To celebrate the brand new experience and makeover, we decided to mark the occasion with a secret Pizza Experience at Princes Street Gardens on Saturday – offering 6 lucky locals a first look at their experience; with Edinburgh Castle providing the backdrop.

The guests learnt first-hand the art of pizza making and all about the finest Italian ingredients used to make Gusto’s sourdough pizzas and trademark dough petals. This was just a sneak peek of the experience guests can expect when Gusto Italian reopens it’s doors again on Tuesday 2nd August.

The Gusto Pizza Experience, which can be booked for 6-10 people, involves four Italian courses, hands-on pizza making, complimentary fizz on arrival, and piping cannolis. Once reopen, Edinburgh locals will be able to take their seats at the new pizza chef’s table for a fun-filled two-hour experience.

Matt Snell, Chief Executive Officer, said “After great success in Nottingham and Liverpool, we can’t wait to bring the ultimate Pizza Experience to the people of Edinburgh.

It’s going to be tough to beat a location like Edinburgh Castle but we think our stunning new interiors will create the perfect surroundings for our new Pizza Experience.”
